What we do

Specifically, here's what we handle.

We design and install complete smart home systems that actually work the way you want them to. No guesswork, no dropped connections, no apps that fight each other.

Smart lighting

Lutron Caseta, RadioRA, Leviton Decora Smart, Philips Hue. Dimmer-compatible bulbs, smart switches, scene programming, and remote-control schedules.

Smart locks & video doorbells

August, Schlage Encode, Yale, Ring, Google Nest. Keyless entry, guest codes, package alerts, full app integration.

Thermostats & climate

Ecobee, Nest, Honeywell. Multi-zone setups, geofencing, HVAC integration with the rest of your smart home.

Security cameras

Indoor and outdoor camera systems, doorbell cameras, motion lighting, hardwired and battery options.

Smart electrical panels

Span, Lumin, and Leviton smart panels. Per-circuit monitoring, app-based breaker control, EV/solar/battery integration.

Voice & app integration

We tie everything together with Google Home, Alexa, or Apple HomeKit so you control your home from one place — not seven different apps.

Why Electracore

What sets us apart for this work.

Real electricians, not gadget installers

Every smart device is hardwired correctly by a licensed electrician — not pushed into an outlet by someone who watched a YouTube video. That means no flickering lights, no fire risks, no connection drops.

Whole-system thinking

We design your smart home as a system, not a pile of devices. Every switch, sensor, and panel is chosen to work together with the platform you already use.

We support what we install

If something stops working a year from now, you call us — not customer support in another country. We know your setup because we built it.

Common questions

Things people ask us.

Do I need to rewire my whole house to make it smart? +

No. Most smart home upgrades replace existing switches, outlets, and devices without touching the wiring behind the walls. For older homes that need a neutral wire run for smart switches, we can do that surgically without a full rewire.

Which smart home platform should I pick — Google, Alexa, or HomeKit? +

It depends on the phones and speakers you already use. iPhone households usually do best with HomeKit. Google household? Google Home. Already have Echo speakers? Alexa. We build to whatever you've got — no need to switch ecosystems.

Will my smart devices still work if the internet goes out? +

Most modern smart devices have local control as a fallback — your switches, locks, and thermostats keep working without internet. Cameras and remote app control go offline until your internet comes back. We always test this during install.

Can you make my old house smart, or only new construction? +

Both. Most of our smart home work is on existing homes — including ones from the 1920s. We work around old wiring, plaster walls, and unusual layouts. New construction is easier, but old homes are very doable.

How long does a typical smart home install take? +

A few smart switches and a thermostat — half a day. A whole-home smart system with panels, locks, cameras, and lighting — usually 2-4 days depending on home size. We give you an exact timeline at the quote stage.
